ACCYF Safety Committee

The All Good Living Foundation (AGLF) works to develop programs and curricula to educate youth and families regarding situational safety and self-defense in the City of Alameda and surrounding communities. Our safety programs and curriculum aim to build an understanding of situational prevention, risk reduction, self-awareness, and witness safety. AGLF is currently working with the Alameda Police Department and Alameda Point Collaborative to address the concerns voiced by youth through the ACCYF Community Action Discussions regarding safety within the community and how best to address safety concerns.

The Safety Committee’s mission includes developing safety programs alongside Alameda’s public and private school systems and existing youth organizations to make these programs and opportunities accessible to all families in our community. Please join our group if you can help bridge relationships with schools, city departments, or organizations tasked with safety.
